My name is no special meaning to it, none of my friends ever called me Frenchie, I used to pretend like they did just to seem "cool" to my other friends and after that, the name just kinda stuck with me, now, it's my stage name. My friends still call me by my real name, but anywhere else, it's Frenchie =)
I was first into music when my friend started to teach me some guitar, I practiced for a few weeks, but then I lost the passion. Then Lady Gaga came along and I did some research on her background and I was inspired to write my own songs. Then a song sprang from my head like Artemis; Boxt In. Then I started to write many more songs and soon I had my first album. Then I wrote my first single; I Vote You To Be The Worst, and it turned out to be a terrible song hahaha. But there was one big problem that went on for five albums. . .
I didn't have any music behind the lyrics. I still regret it but I'm thankful for it at the same time, because through the 3 chords I know on the guitar, it would've been the same thing over and over and over and over and over again, people would've gotten bored anyways. And I'm afraid I was starting to make that mistake once again, but with music behind the lyrics, I keep playing the same chords in lots of songs, but now adays I've gotten into playing piano with my songs. But I'm now taking guitar lessons so that should change.
What I want most to come from my music is inspiration, to inspire people who are in my position to rise above what people think and get out there and have a good time, like I always do when ever I open my mouth to sing.
I hope to reach fame someday, but not ruin my chances of letting all those dreamers out there who look up to me down. I hope to build my fame on Jesus, Dreams, Wishes, and Love. ~ Frenchie Apollo <3
